Why am I ineligible?

In order to collect the data required from the study, only individuals who meet certain eligibility criteria can participate. The criteria are different for every study, including studies involving the same medical condition.

Unfortunately, you are not eligible for this particular study because you do not meet one (or more) of these criteria. However, that does not mean you will be ineligible for other similar studies. There are also times when studies do alter the eligibility criteria if they cannot find enough participants.

How will I know if the eligibility criteria changed?

If this happens, and it appears you may be eligible, we will email you. You can unsubscribe from our mailing list if you do not want to be contacted.

How can I know before filling out the questionnaire whether I’ll be eligible?

There was a section titled “Who Can Participate?”. We require that all research centers list as much information here as possible about the eligibility criteria.
